This is a resource I use for students who require IT, ICT or EDSQ (Essential Digital Skills Qualification) sessions. At the beginning of the year, the students state what their IT/ICT EHCP goal is and how they will achieve it in sessions. This goal is then reviewed again half way through the year and again at the end of the year to measure progress and achievement. (See accompanying EHCP goal review sheet.)

I use this resource for students completing the EDSQ Essential Digital Skills Qualification. ICT/IT tutors can use the evidence assessment sheets to state what evidence is provided in the students portfolios, when students have demonstrated practical ICT/IT skills or completed paperwork for their EDSQ course. These 5 assessment sheets are for the Level 1 EDSQ course.

These 4 evidence sheets can be used to organise the students Entry Level 3 NOCN (National Open College Network) Basic Makeup Application course portfolio, in order to make it easier to find the NOCN criteria evidence. They are usually placed in front the accompanying NOCN Basic Makeup Appication Entry Level 3 Portfolio Assessment Sheets (which are an opportunity for students to provide photographic evidence for their qualification). NOCN Code: NOCN J/506/7928 It covers all criteria, from 1.1 to 4.2.

This is a resource I use with students completing a Functional Skills - English/Literacy course. It is a Speaking and Listening assessment task, where students have to roleplay for 5 minutes making a phone call (ordering a takeaway). This resource could be used for SEN students, to support them with the Speaking and listening course criteria.

This is a resource I use for students that require Travel Training sessions. In order to develop transferable skills, students are required to plan journeys on public transport. This resource is a scenario where students can plan a trip to their local HMV store. You just need to add the appropriate info (street names etc.) for your local area! It gives advice to students of things they need to consider when planning their journey. It also encourages budgeting skills

This is a 1 page resource that can be used for students that require support in building social skills, such as students with Autism or Entry Level 1-3. Students can complete a quick 5 question quiz about social scenarios. This could be used a starter task before discussing/role-playing how to be polite in social situations. This resource could be used for students completing a Travel Training course, as students are encouraged to work on their social skills when in the local community; or used as evidence towards the Rarpa, PfA - Preparing for Adulthood target of Friends, Relationships & Community Skills.

This is a 4 page resource can be used for students that require support in building social skills, such as students with Autism or Entry Level 1-3. Students can cut out the various listening skills and then sort them into good listening skills and poor listening skills and stick them under the appropriate headings. Where students get to review the progress with their PfA good health goal and tutors can provide written feedback.

This is a 1 page resource where students can peer assess each others work. They can state, what the artist did well, what they would like to see more of and what the art work shows. It can be used for the criteria : Comment constructively on someone else’s work.

This resource can be used in ICT/Computing sessions as an end of session/topic student feedback sheet/exit slip. It can be used to gauge a students understanding of the session or topic and provides written feedback and next steps to support learning.
